I was very apprehensive the first time that I brought my dogs to Lisa. After a terrible experience with a previous groomer, when my dogs came back looking terrible and feeling worse, I was afraid that they were scarred for life.
Lisa put both the dogs and I at ease right away. Sprocket and Doozer came back to me looking and smelling great, and they were both happy and bright-eyed, not cowering as they had been when they came back from the other groomer's.
It's easy to tell that Lisa really loves animals, and has a passion for her work. She will take however long is necessary to get a dog used to her and the tools. She will explain everything to the owners, too - really taking into consideration what you want as an owner, but also what is best for the dog. She is extremely patient and loving toward my dogs, even though they can sometimes be little maniacs.
I am so glad that we found Out of the Dog House grooming, and we will definitely be coming back for years!
